Knives of Alaska Bushmaster

I have the Bushmaster in D2. Its a heck of a knife and my experience with KOA is nothing but great. I had a new Alpha wolf that was not up to my expectation for sharpness. I sent it back and they redid the edge to a hair splitting dandy. I had it back in a week and they refunded what it cost to ship it back to them. Great outfit to do business with. I also have the ten inch Alaskan Camp/Trail knife in D2. Also the Alpha Wolf, Cub Bear and Muskrat Skinner. The Magnum Boar Hunter is next on my list. Or the Yukon Belt Knife.;)

I think the KOA are drastically under rated. They offer a lot of quality at a good price.
 
I've been admiring the KOA cutelry at Sportsman's Warehouse for the past year. Each time I pick up a camp knife, muskrat, or other, I get closer and closer to buying one. They are superb pieces of work! And that's saying nothing of their great sheaths!
 
i have been carrying the brown bear combo for a while and it has done a great job for me.

Absolutely underrated ! Their customer service is top notch. If the blade ever gets damaged while working it "on the beast", just send it back and they'll get a new one out to you. Their warranty doesn't apply if you damage the blade while batoning, or if you drop it on a rock.
 
I have a cub bear and an alaskan hunter. Both are great blades, an both are part of my hunting gear. However, my personal experience is that the finish is not as good as from some other comparably priced knives from other companies. Your friends will admire it for how well it works, but not necessarily for how good it looks.
