I'd like to know opinions on Knives of Alaska quality etc , especially the Alpha Wolf S30V.

I can't tell you about that one, but I do have a Magnum Ulu, and I am very happy with the sharpness of the D2 edge.

Ok, I have 3 knives of Alaska the camp knife with the rubber handle. And a Set with a jeger and a bear cub(I believe) which both are in caribou antler. Great knives I love the feel of them. Ats-34 is my Jeger and 154 cm i think my bear cub and my camp knife are in. I bought these a while ago so I am not sure if they are using the same steels. I really like them and they ahve held there edge great. Only problem I have with them is the caribou has dried up on the jeger and I have to send it back.

Hi,
Just to add. The Lone Wolf is also available in D2. Both are very thin. I have two other Knives of Alaska in D2, The Bush Camp (D2 run this year) and the Hunter Series Alaskan. The Bush Camp in D2 to Convex and VERFY sharp. The Alaskan is fairly stout with a very secure handle.
Good knives both. The thin Lone Wolf should be a very good slicer and caper. They did not strick me a general purpose field knives.
Ron.
