I keep looking at those as well. They are a darned good looking knife! Like the finger grooves and blade shape. I clean alot of deer during the season and my hands and the knives get very bloody and slippery during the process. Those look like they would be a little more secure for that job. Maybe someone can chime in and give their two cents worth on a cost effective alternative as well.

The knives are very well built with extraordinary sheaths. The much maligned D2 is very, very good on these knives. I have their Yukon and Magnum Ulu and the edges are well ground, equally beveled (on the Yukon, the Ulu is beveled on one side) and sharp out of the box. The Parkerized (-like?) finish handles a lot of abuse without showing it. I'd buy it without reservation if you can ...

Search is your friend.

There was just a pretty good thread on this about a week ago.

They come very sharp. I don't have one but we sell them at work. One of the girls that worked at the knife and optics counter cut herself with one when it cut through the sheath. When she did it, she immediately sold 2 to the guys she was showing it to. It wasn't the Alpha Wolf model though.
