Hi folks,

I managed to finish my edits of the work I captured while up in Montana. Some you have seen, and some will elicit a lonnnng appreciative whistle.

There were a great many exceptional knives that didn't make it to my table, but these were the fortunate ones that did.

I offered comments (Kumbaya seasoned, of course ;)) on each of the works on the site. I found them ALL to be worthy of praise.

Thanks for being patient. Please spend a few minutes looking closely.

I'll give a few examples here to whet the appetite...

Coop,
Those are some great pictures of great knives. I especially like the dogbones from Josh Smith and Tim Hancock.

Great knives and pictures Coop, thanks for showing!

The gun knife is something out of this world!

Thanks much Coop. Great work. You are a bargain at twice the price. No No dont raise the price.

Great pictures of great knives! Thank you for the opportunity to see them!

Thought I was Raptured for a moment . . . til my wife started nagging me to get off the #@&^$ computer.

The Ripper is novel, fantastic art, but the psychologist in me pondered what's going on in Larry's mind to conjure up such a mangled biological monstrosity. Wasn't it van Gogh's twisted genius that had him whacking off an ear? Larry's buds might want keep an eye on him, especially when he works late on full moons. Hmmm . . . makes you wonder about that Arizona desert, given how far Larry and Tai roam outside the box.

But I have to say that the austere, classic knife, with top material, perfectly designed and executed has more shock value and allure to me than the most bizarre art knife ever made.

Thanks for that terrific look at some top quality pieces Coop. You're right, they are all praiseworthy. Josh's take-down and Henry's ironwood coffin handle are pieces I would have liked to take home.

What is the handle on the Hancock? Thanks for the great photos, Coop. Also the writing on the last post was great!

A terrific body of work, Coop. I saw how much effort you put into the digital capture of these beautiful knives and as a result the final edits are powerful. The Erik Fritz fighter now belongs to my son, Robert, and I was lucky to win the Harvey Dean slip-joint folder. Your images of both are excellent.

Coop, great photos as always from a bunch of great looking knives. If you don't mind I saved a couple:D of pictures for future reference.

Absolutely beautiful photos Coop and great knives.
My three favorites from the show are ALL hunters surprisingly enough. The fact that I'm not a "dogbone bowie" fan probably influences my picks. Larry's "Ripper" is no doubt an amazing work of art, however my taste is a little more conservative in my knife collecting.

Josh's piece is beautiful and in addition is as cool as cool can be with the super screwdriver. If you have never seen Josh's "take downs" in pieces, I will tell you they are as clean on the inside as on the outside. He even marks each piece so no one will be sending them back for him to put back together. ;)

This piece is "Classic Hancock" at it's best. Tim's work is just SO clean and meticulous. Love his rendition of the "weggie" rear bolster.

How can you beat this Harvey Dean combination of gorgeous amber stag and feather pattern damascus. Harvey's engraving is really getting good too. He has been at it just under a year now. I saw his first engraved piece last October at Jerry's Show.

That Tim Hancock is THE most gorgeous knife!! WOW!! WOW!! WOW!! That is the epitome of STUNNING & SPECATCULAR!!

Thanks Coop for the awesome knife pix!

Great photos as usual Coop and thanks for showing the great knives of the JS HammerIn and show. I like the Wade Colter piece very much and those Tim Hancock knives are stunning as usual. Like you I think the JS Searles Bowie being auctioned is the best Searles I can ever recall seeing. Every component is perfect.

Would be interesting to have the prices of the knives that went at the show.

That Tim Hancock knife with the dark spectacled handle and damascus blade, is it for sale and how much are you asking for it? If not selling where can I acquire said knife?

Hi folks,

Thanks again. Yeah, these are sweet.

Keith, don't get anxious; that's it. I was fortunate to get this much done. :D

I *really* wanted to shoot the Fuegen folder that was offered to me, but it never surfaced after the show. Don't know who snagged it.

Thanks coop. all the knives are great. You did an exellent job showing the picture frame guard on my knife. The wrought iron core and damascus frame show perfectly in your photo. As buce said it would be worth it at twice the price.
