Hi friends,

For the second year, I have been privileged to be part of Steve D'Lack's NYC Fall show. This year he moved the venue to the ECCKS hotel (Crown Plaza near Time Square), and for me, it made a nice difference.

I was there for three days. Almost all my work came in on Friday and Saturday, and I brought 'homework' for Sunday to shoot. No time wasted!

Many of the makers I shot are seen regularly, and they know the value of good photographs to help promote themselves, still.

Other knives and shots were fresh and a treat for the eyes.

Here are some of my favorite images, from a photographer's standpoint.

An open thanks to all the clients who gave me this opportunity to work my skills and show their work.

Whats not to like?:D Those Winkler hawks are wild looking. I must say that it is a somewhat surreal experience for me to go to your gallery and see a couple of my knives included.:D

Excellent knives and great pictures as always. There are two knives that stand out to me. One is the Hanson Bowie and the other one is, although I'm not really a folder guy, the Wood with the tortoise.

Turkey Day Surprise :D

Thanks Much!

Yeah, that Wood folder is cool. To me, it looks like something that F. Scott Fitzgerald or Ernest Hemmingway would have carried in their coat pocket in Paris in the 1920's:thumbup:

Some very interesting and beautiful pieces.

Those Winkler axes are very cool.
He is really taking his designs to new levels.

Coop,

Thanks for the photos. The Owen Wood is a great looking knife.

A STAR is born. ;) :)

seriously, congrats

I'll chime in with kudos for Mr. Wood.
That Hanson is hideous! One of the ugliest knives I've ever seen!;)

Wow that Owen Wood is incredible! All of them are super. Great images, Coop!

Coop, Thank you. We will call that the Thanksgiving day knife parade. I liked then all.

Agreed, here. Great subjects, great images. Always a treat to see such tremendous work brought to life by a true master. Thanks, Coop.

Coop, nice selection and beautiful work as always.
The Winkler's were a surprise, and the Wood is a show stopper, very Art Deco.

A sweet treat, as always. Joe - your knives look great! Love those Winkler pieces. If anyone knows what the wood-handled version went for, please drop me a line.
