Knives On Order - 2014

As I wrote in an earlier post, this is a great knife - but I'd like a 3/4 scale version. I'm guessing the original is 10" + or so and I'd like an 8" knife. 4" to 4-1/2" blade - or thereabouts. With my green heart for the scales. Is that a possibility for summer of 2014? No sheath needed.

If you think it won't scale down right - I'll understand.

With an overall length of 8", I would recommend a 4" blade to allow for a 4" handle.
 
I have several July orders that have not had the handle material confirmed. I`m not going to "nag" anyone, so please check your order to see if you told me the material you want. I`ll be ordering the handle material on Friday. Also, I`m down to about a 6 week delivery, so if there is something you want, order it now! If I get down to a 2 week delivery time I will be stopping taking orders until enough build up to justify shipping costs for materials.

I just measured another fixed blade and a folder that I like and it is pretty clear to me that I need a 4" wood handle section + the extended tang with the lanyard hole whatever that dimension is. So 4" blade + 4" wood + extended tang.

Otherwise style and grind just like protourist's knife.

The original is 9" overall, with a 4 1/2" blade, 4 1/8" handle, and 3/8" extension, so that`s not shrinking it down much.
 
Here I am being a pain again :(. Sorry. I couldn't know the size of the original. So then would you make me one of those?
I guess it looked perfect because it was :).

I did not even remember the size until I went out and measured it, I thought it was longer too!
 
Hi John,

Black canvas micarta, red liners and steel pins for my July knife.

Why change now? :)

Even though there is still room in July, due to some requests I have started an August list.
