Knives on your "must have" list from SHOTSHOW 2016

These were my favorite looking ones from what ive seen so far:
Spyderco Pattada
Kershaw Entropy
Boker Aurora
ZT 0450cf

Not absolute must, but any of those, at any time:

Spyderco Eurofighter and the new, smaller Vallotton
BM 928, 15080-1, 698
Kershaw Ferrite, Showtime, maybe also Westin.
The Viper made, Steel Will Gekko in D2.

I also liked one of the new Krudo folders, but didn't remember the model name... :D
The one on the bottom, they are also supposed to be made in Italy for Krudo:
(sorry for the huge picture...)

Kershaw Decoy, looks interesting and the pincers are a really cool idea. I also can't wait to check out the Boker Plus USA.

I kinda liked the CRKT Jettison designed by Robert Carter. I met both him and Alan Folts at the CRKT booth.

For me, it's the Spyderco ATR. I cannot get over how excited I am about that knife.

Thanks Jed, I didn't know they were bringing that back. Found the vid after a bit of hunting.

As for me, most of the new ZT's are on my list, as well as all three of the new Launches. The only other Kershaw I'm interested in is the one with the prybar on the back. I didn't even look at the Benchmades, because I just don't like Benchmades. My number one want (which feels an awful lot like a need) is that folding TOPS BOB that Poceh got a pic of*.

Edited to add: watched a video of the Spyderco offerings. I'll get the 40 year anniversary Native, and that's about it for me. I hope they sell every one of the rest of their new line that they make. Otherwise, with regards to Spyderco, I'm about to place an order for a GB 2 here shortly. That's a knife I have wanted ever since I held the concept at Blade '15.

*I am in LOVE with that knife, I hopehopeHOPE they make it.

I think the Kershaw Launch 6 is the only thing I added to my "watch list" so far. I have already seen the new releases from my big 3 (spyderco, bm, kai). The Launch 6 immediately went on the list as I am looking for my first auto. The others not as much. Still looking for some released in 2015 that I don't have.

nirvana.

way out of my price range as i am a poor student. but fuck it i'm just going to buy it and deal with the consequences.

god damn it spyderco.

ZT 0804 is the only thing I've seen of the big 3 that's really tripped my trigger. Other than that I'm honestly kinda disappointed in the 2016 line up. Good thing I still haven't filled in my 2015 want list.

Hey Forrest, I wish you were there and take a look at those two display cases with all the prototypes and new models for this year... They were so many, that you'd hardly remember few of them... I can't stop thinking about the new Vallotton and Schempp's new Eurofighter dagger look-like knife...
The GB 2 is nice, but I have to tell you, I had a very interesting conversation with Mr Bradley, specifically about the GB model... I mentioned that my favorite is the first model, and he smiled and literally said that he re-designed it because "...it was some criticism about the ergonomics of GB1 that I..." and follows his short opinion that I really don't want to state here because I believe he shared it privately, but I'm glad to say that what I like in the first model is exactly what was his idea about this knife... :D Means nothing, I understand that we all have different tastes and priorities, I'm just saying, to me the first GB is better. I would go for the second model only because the tip is pointier, that's it...
He is amazing guy, I have to mention this: in fact I spoke again with Ed Schempp, Phil Willson, briefly with Sal, I met Rick Hinderer and Allen Elishevitz and I have to tell you, I'm shocked how down to earth this people ( that are icons at least to me) are and how much time they actually talked with me and what details they shared...
Actually I will definitely get this year the new Hogue knife along with Elishevitz's auto, it'll be my first auto, not because I'm so crazy about autos but I love the blade design on this-one...

Sorry for the big pictures, hope they load fast enough, didn't have time to upload smaller copies.

Hey Jordan, I had a GB1 and it's a fantastic knife! Now my friend Kevin has it, and loves it from what he told me. I have wanted the GB2 since I held the prototype, and honestly, I'll pick up another GB1 off the Exchange at some point just so I can have both. I have been carrying my Wayfarer most days, so it's not like I need another knife, but I have honestly been waiting for the 2, and BladeHQ now has 'em in stock. Know what, that's it, I'm doing it right now. LOL

You're a terrible influence, brother.

Could not resist, splurged and bought the Protect TR5 last night. Should be an exciting day when the package arrives! The coolest part about the whole ordeal was that i literally told my self "why am i watching Pro-techs new offerings, I've never been a fan!", then literally two minutes later "holy jesus on a cross, thats one of the most beautiful things I've darn ever seen!". Well i guess such is life! Needless to say, I haven't been this excited about a knife in a long time!

I'm right there with you Scott. Just pre-ordered the 0095 from you about 5 minutes ago and can't wait! I'm excited about all of ZT's lineup this year. I'm also looking forward to the Benchmade Proxy and Precinct.

I think I have checked to see if tracking has updated 904 times since 5:00. Hoping these are going to come in way early than expected but want know until tracking activates. Keep your fingers crossed!
