This is ‘The Band’, the album is ‘Music From Big Pink’

A legendary assembly of musicians (IMHO). This album from 1968 was a departure from the psychedelic culture of the time. ‘The Weight’ is probably the best known song from this album.

The cover art is actually a painting by Bob Dylan.

Couldn’t agree more. Early 70s was some good stuff, this one being my favourite. However, you won’t find Constrictor or anything after on my shelves.
