Knives similar to BHK PLSK1

There's a beefed up version at 5" on the Pathfinder site...was out of stock last I looked, but it looked appealing.

Glade you like the knife Tidefan! It's sturdy for thin stock, no? I like how he kept the tip thick too. When I bought, it was from eBay and shipped pretty quick, so I think along wait isn't the norm.
 
I like a slightly thicker knife as well but the 3/32 for some reason seems stronger than I thought it would be. This is the kind of knife that would just disappear until you need it. The handle is comfortable and fills my big mitts nicely. I guess as I get older I like the idea of lighter weight. I had a mild stroke two weeks ago and had planned a camping trip prior to that so weight of my gear really has become important. I plan on using the crap out of it around the house till the trip and I'll take some photos as well. For some reason I can't post pics here but I'll work on that. Thanks...Jim
