First I looked for a bark river forum, didn't see one
Looked for a hard use thread (looked quickly) none
So maybe this is a good repository for hard use knives, sort of real world testing

I just cleaned this up after another couple hour long clearing session

A2 steel, very easy to touch up
Very tough though I did finally chip/roll the edge in a spot I heard it hit either stone or steel
Wood, green or dead, hard or soft doesn't adversely effect edge other than expected dulling
I only keep performers in my true use rotation, this one will stay, it will have a hard life

Plenty of people use knives ‘hard’ here, if what you mean is doing hard work?

These pages abound in it. There are plenty of collectors and there are plenty of users and there is plenty of crossover.

My Tramontina 18" and Kelly TT cruiser have seen the most heavy use of all my bladed tools this year. Well, except for the chainsaw. But without these two, the chainsaw would be too dangerous to use. A match made in the hell where a tree's nightmares are spawned.
