Knives That Fit These Specs

I'm looking for a folding knife, but I'm very particular. I want a lockback spear point with a thin blade that's no less than 4" and no more than 5.5". No plastic in the handle, and hopefully it'll cost less than $80, but I'm flexible. If not a lockback, I might accept the right slipjoint. Can anyone recommend a knife that fits those specs, or is at least close to them? Thanks in advance!

Closest thing I can think of is a slightly modified large Opinel or Cold Steel Bushman but you might like the blade as is. You could also go a little smaller with a Victorinox Rucksack or similar. You would have the thin, spear point blade that is a decent size and some useful tools extra.

Spear point lock back 4" blade, I think you should wait for the Coldsteel Hold out...
tho it's triad lock not back lock but they're similar when close and open

applegate line from gerber is actually pretty decent and fits what your looking for. edit: nvm, missed the plastic in the handle part.

I had a ?Gardener by Opinel with a Sandvic stainless blade that was a decent knife for the price but it used a lock ring instead of a lock back.

Cold Steel Counterpoint, two versions in 4" & 3" with the specs (except has grivory handle scales) you are looking for. The Triad lock IS a lockback, just a slightly modified one woth addition of a stop pin. Strongest lock on the market.

I looked at those knives, but most of them didn't seem like my cup of tea. Brets-ftw, could you find a picture or website selling those knives you mentioned? I can't find them anywhere, and I'd like to see what they look like.

heres a fruit tester ive had my eye on for a while, keep in mind the coffin handle is not standard and this one has micarta handles but there are those that follow the traditional pattern will have bolsters and inserts (jigged bone, stone, wood etc)

here is a Dr. Knife pattern, nice rectangular handle with either one of 3 setups, (spearpoint, pen blade/spearpoint, spatula/single spearpoint)

Tell me about it, Nternal.

Brets-ftw, I love that knife, but I don't love the spey blade. The coffin handle is nice, though. Not standard, you say? Is it still possible to get it with the coffin?

Also, I don't see the Dr. Knife pattern. Did the link not post?

Forgot to add link, multitasking mistake, added it now

as to the fruit tester, im sure you can find one with a coffin handle, but this is the first time ive seen it with something besides that standard traditional bolster and insert. there are also ones with spear, wharncliff and drop point blades, ill try to find some more that fit the bill a little better
