Knives that I want to buy, but they don't exist.

Why no drawings? Curious as to the reasoning behind that. Have been for awhile, just hadn't asked.

I posted that in case there was a lot of interest for a particular item, And I didn't want to see that it didn't get made b/c of legalities of the rights of the ideas. I figured that if I say I want a fb under 2 " that anyone could think of that, and if I draw a picture of exactly what I want, then surely it won't be made just as I drew it. I mainly started this thread to see if a municipal friendly fixed blade would have any interest....But I guess not.

Also, posting pics that have been seen already would be o.k., I just wanted to avoid new drawings.

conceptual drawings are not copyrighted

although its not like anyone here will go running to their "shop" and start mass producing knives...

Yeah dude, I think we are a decent bunch of folks here that would probably not screw eachother like that. Even if we did, once you post it, you have proof that it is your idea, so no worries from a legal view.

The thought I had was that I want to buy them, not that I want to have an idea and receive royalties. This stemmed from something bladite said about not making something b/c of legal reasons when we were posting drawings of exactly what we wanted. It came evident that If we post drawings of exactly what we want it will never make it to production. But if I say I want a sub 2" ESKabar and Ethan thinks its a good idea, It could very well become a reality.

I have no doubts of the integrity of those who frequent this forum. This forum is no doubt the best I've been on(peoplewise). I was thinking of giving general statements Instead of fully developed ideas that we wanted to have rights to.

Also, I ended up on tagannon's website and noticed that esee does make 2 of the knives I am requesting. I was looking at the length of the sharpened portion instead of the oal of the blade (esee3, and izula).
