I think I initially thought it'd be a nostalgia thing, like it was cute that Case offered something in a retro-modern style. I figured the opportunity to try 20CV was all it would amount to. Man, this is such a good cutter. So solid, buttery smooth action, and what surprises me most is how well it melds into my pocket, yet retrieves with zero hassle.
 
Gary, you beat me to it! I've been pondering creating a thread on this very subject for a few weeks now. :)

For me it was the humble Kershaw Blur. A knife that is greater than the sum of its parts.
