Knives u like, any and all, post them here

Also wish I had a picture of my Fishwolf SBK,made for me by my friend: Jimmie. He made me a fine little EDC knife + a matching marlinspike, then he 'siamesed' the two sheaths together, and put on a Tec Loc.

You know Jimmie? Heck of a nice guy huh? He recently made me one heck of a chopper...

You like the Wetterlings? I've been looking at the small forest axe class, trying to justify the extra cost for the Gransfors Bruks, but seriously considering the Wetterlings.

Here's a couple I like to carry...

Jimmie Fishwolf is a fine man! As the oldtimers useta say: "He'll do,to ride the river with!" which was high praise.
Think this has been the busy season for his full-time job,and that's why we haven't seen more new knives from him! He is excellent @ recycling big ol' saw blades into user knives, then sells them too cheap.
>>>> Tell him Gnarly said so! <<<<
He also does gorgeous hard-use things in 0-1 steel.....some of Jimmie's work (Fishwolf Knives) [ http://www.fishwolfknives.webs.com/ ] is a collaboration with my friend GRIFFINHAWKS,and the work is prominently displayed on our mutual friend: GRIFFINHAWKS' webpage: http://griffinhawksleathercraft.weebly.com/ .
In fact,I have a machete Jimmie has agreed to put his finishing touches on,when he has time...and I sent him 3 pieces of Swedish steel,to make me a couple more of his knives....Yeah; Jimmie is good people!
(Have ya seen the 'Survival Tin Knife',on the front page of his website?)

To answer your questions about the Wetterlings Axes....I owned a Granfors Bruks; a small axe....don't recall the model name....Anyhow,I really liked it,and every one of theirs I'd ever seen/handled.
Very nice axes,no doubt.

And if my neighbor hadn't came by to show off his Wetterlings Hunters Axe,I'd prob'ly still own the GB....when I tried it out: not a quarters' worth of difference in fit,finish,edge-holding,ergos,etc....just this: the Wetterlings was $30-$45 less expensive.
IMO, both are excellent axes....top of the food chain,so to speak...both of them. But that's a fairly heavy price difference,to me.
Sold it,bought the Wetterlings Hunters Axe (16"),and put the difference toward my first Incendio V3+.
Still don't regret it....have used the Hell out of it....takes an incredible edge and keeps it![
The only way I'd buy a GB again is if they were the same price as the Wetterlings I wanted. JMO.

Beautiful knives, Bakerg2g! My two favorites? The R.Laconico....and that fine-looking last knife in your list! ;)
