If you go with the Leatherman, I'd go with the CX version that has the carbon fiber scale and 154CM stainless blade steel---it's a really nice knife that also happens to have a driver bit, plyers, etc.
If you're focused more on a simple, lightweight knife rather than a bulkier (albeit lightweight) multitool, the Spyderco Remote Release is an excellent design. :thumbup:
I've seen the Kershaw National Geographic carabineer knife but there was some controversy about it here around on the forums a few months ago. I believe it's imported, and someone posted a very negative and duragatory review. Never tried one, love American made Kershaws, but I'd try the Remote Release and Skeletool.
