Knives with leather handles?

Not quite on topic since you don't really want to debate pros and cons, but I was wondering if a leather lace (or strap) wrap could be used on an izula rather than the more common paracord wrap. I think it would look cool, but am concerned with the leather being more of a flat strip than round cord like. Would it come out ok? Sorry if I'm not on topic. William
 
Dangit, Pipedreams, I think that's one of my pipe-dreams:D A while back when I had $$ I got into Busse knives, but I really wish I'd foregone one of them and picked up a Randall 1-7:grumpy::p Someday soon, though:thumbup:

Use round leather necklace cord. ;)

Here's some leather handled Marble's that I've picked up over the years. The third and fourth down from the top are my favorites, the Campcraft and the Trailcraft in 52-100.
 
I like the 52100 Marbles and some older KaBar hunters. But I've got some others that were branded Remington, etc.
