Knives with Old World Character

what about an Okapi? the middle one is a cold steel version. i mean the top and bottom

Ah, some really cool knives in this thread. I too like the looks of these old world blades, but have yet to take the plunge.

Came across some cool Japanese fixed blades a while back. I hadn't seen, heard or read anything about them although I havn't really been looking in the right channels I suppose.

One of the things that caught my attention were the really awesome wooden (bamboo maybe?) leather and brass sheaths a lot of their blades come with. They seem to be priced around the 100$ mark, so I'm assuming quality and materials match the price tag, might be something worth looking into. :) Maybe someone around here knows a thing about them, they certainly look intriguing.
