i just came across this beauty and it made milk come out my nose a bit so i had to post it... anyone else find any gems like this out there?

The good ol' Flaming Destroyer comes to mind.

Comes with a Nylon sheath, I believe.

wow i thought the one i found was unique!, guess not... i'm amazed there is such a similar blade. Maybe that lobsterboy is the designer.

Yeah, there is a fairly long and distinguished history for folding hunting knives. However, this one does not look as useful as a small knife (in the closed position) as some older designs.

Good point. That is a poorly executed version of knives with a time tested profile.

That profile is nowhere near as ridiculous as something like, say....this

I noticed the file name on one of the pictures.

ghost? slaughter?

i actually disagree with this one, if you need a knife that can pry as well as cut this is a good design, like breaching doors or something.

I've actually saved several weird fantasy blades and a few others a while back to show my buddy how crazy knives can get.
This first one looks like it could be Predator's version of the Tom Brown Tracker

The rest of these are just ridiculous.

This one isn't really wierd but it's got some funky grind lines for sure

and the one in the top left corner in this pic is pretty strange

The same could be said about the knife in your opening post! It's a good design for if someone would have to battle three-headed fire-breathing snakes. And to me that "snake" scenario is no more an improbable fantasy than someone attempting to breach a door with a folding knife! :D

I'll tell you waht, though...that one you posted is a spectacularly ridiculous knife.

something tells me your pretty traditional in your preferred blades!, those little Atwoods are awesome and highly collectable, i don't think they would qualify cause they are meant to be multi use tools including a blade.

OK uber cheezy fantasy knives don't count! only knives that have the intent of being serious if that makes any sense. basically really badly designed knives, not knives that are meant to be over the top, they just ended up that way.

Who shall gauge the intent of the makers?

The knife in the OP looks like it's made for opening stuck jar lids. :D
