Knives you have most fun with

My Off Grid Rapid Fire is probably the one, I have the most fun with.

Never seen this one before. Nice recurve there.

Buck 110 Auto, nickel bolsters and orange micarta scales. Very satisfying to open and smooth to close. A close second is an Opinel N°10 which I have modded to swing free and whose locking ring flicks smooothly into place opening and closing. The Opinel is a great fidget toy, a fiendish cutter, and an outstanding EDC knife.

This Tops.

It’s a pleasure to use for all sorts of stuff. Has a nice weight that makes the blade quick to manipulate, and the nice curve to the tip is a great size for whittling. Brass slotted hardware, red liners, micarta, full tang, leather slip sheath.

I reach for it often.

Microtech Socom Elite: for the massive handle that just melts into my hand; and the loud thwack and recoil of the blade on opening.
Chris Reeve Inkosi: for the feel of solid titanium in hand and just looking at that beautiful blade.
Zero Tolerance 0392: Ou la la titanium goodness, the whole package, just beautiful.
WE Fornix: solid titanium in a thin package (do I have a thing for titanium?). A razor sharp blade that sings "snip" when opened.
Giant Mouse Ace Sonoma: glorious push button flipper and that wonderful "snip" sound again.

For the "most fun", I have three, all switchblades.

I built these two. The bottom one made mostly from scratch. Solid construction, fast action, tight lockup, and satisfying a lifetime of childhood nostalgia all adds up to a lot of enjoyment. They reside on a table next to my tv watching chair where they receive a lot of daily affection.

I'll have to wait till tomorrow to take a solo pick of the third one. Also a switchblade I made mostly from scratch.

So as promised, here is my third most "fun" knife. It's a switchblade I designed and made out of a boot knife. It has the same characteristics as the previous two, but not being a stiletto it lacks the childhood nostalgia factor (I've got a thing for stilettos). All three of these knives are among my most prized possessions (not just most prized knives).

This knife also sits with the other two and gets fired a few times a day :).

What a tough question: Knives you have most fun with

I've been on this forum a good while and have seen lots of threads about lots of things; this one is particularly tricky as it doesn't ask for your favorite knife but which one you have the most fun with.

Despite my passion for Becker knives, my beloved Cold Steel AD-10, Emersons and a couple Sebenzas, the knife or knives I have the most fun with have to be my beater Pacific Salt and either a Becker BK2 or BK9.

Despite that I have too many folders, and at least a few Spyderco Pacific Salts, my one, older/earlier version, square pocket clip H1 fully serrated beater Pacific Salt is the one I have the most fun with. Why? Because when I have that knife on me I am generally in or around salt water, oftentimes in the Florida Keys and, having fun, not caring in the least what I do with or to this knife as it's already battle scarred; and if it's lost or destroyed, I have back-ups. If I have that knife on me - I'm having fun and not caring.

Similarly for the Becker BK2 (or perhaps BK9) Again, I've got back-ups and because they don't cost an arm and a leg, I can use and abuse them with abandon knowing that they can certainly take it and that KaBar has a great warranty - which I've never had use, BTW.

Great question!

For me its my Chaves 229 Ultramar. Its got such an addictive deployment and the sound it makes is satisfying.

I also really enjoy using it since it's edge geometry is fantastic. It doesn't look it but man its a slicer, and that spanto grind makes me not too worried about light prying and scraping.

most fun isn't hard of all.my knives proberly the ontario sp10 carnt beat that one for making me smile chopping stuff it's just fun
proberly closely followed by a kabar 1213 big enought light fast amazing ballance not a chopper but a knife I will all way have and never be with out one
both fixed blades are easy to replace think that makes it easyer to push them and beat on them
last on the list folder i love my cold steel ti lite 4s for most fun folder and thay take a beating and get used as edc I'm still beating my 440 zytel one and an sv35n one get used have back ups never needed to use any of them yet but only folder if every really fell in love with (other than the buck 110 or 112 do like a traditonal buck ) it a fun fidget knife and has a good twang considering its not the tri ad lock

The Condor Mini Duku for de-limbing trees and general chopping tasks.

On a smaller scale, and in a different way, the S110V Military feels also unstoppable.

I enjoy trying to do small chores with big knives, using my Buck 124 in the kitchen makes me smile the most. My wife thinks I’m ridiculous, so that might have a little something to do with it.
You are ridiculous, but so are the rest of us (including me) that do this.

It changes - which is a problem for my wallet. Right now it’s clip point fixed blades, with the Chebby Bear coming out on top.

How’s the new M390 knife holding up? Haha.
It's much more than I expected.

I mean, no worries about rust at all, great edge retention and kinda easy to sharpen.

Handle ergonomics is just something else and it's comfortable in my pocker. I'd say it's well worth the price.

Blade is very wide, so it's slicey despite 4mm stock thickness and yeah - it's full tang too.
