Hello,

I am curious to know if you miss some knives, because you regret having sold them or because you didn’t pull the trigger on one before it has been discontinued

For me it is the ZT0630cf
I am a fan of the manual / washer knives from ZT
The 0550 was fine, but I like the 0630ORBLK I have but how stupid u was not to take one 0630cf before it was discountinued ;)

I gave a knife away as a kid that I wish I still had.

All I know is that it was a really slim and thin lightweight black handled lockback with a picture of and the word diamond on the handle.
I don't know if it was any good or where it was made but i wish I still had it.

I really miss my Fluted Ti Native. I needed to tighten up after buying way too many knives and sold it for a break-even price. While it really wasn't something I would carry and use much, it was just gorgeous, and every time I see one now I miss it. :(

I sold my mini CQC-7 and I wish I didn't. It was too small, which is why I sold it. Got what I paid so it was a good move... but looking back I think I should have kept it.

GB2
Mnandi

The others I have reacquired over time, after going through several phases of figuring out what was just right for me. I mostly carry traditionals at this point, but I do miss those two. Will pick them up again when funds and space allow.

ZT0392 Wharncliff...IIRC there were two versions. No longer produced but keeps popping up on eBay for about $500+. Keep telling myself, "Next time I'll pull the trigger", but always chicken out. Missed out on a lot of great opportunities. The Wharncliff would display nicely next to my ZT0392 Spearpoint; but, other than that I have little use for Warnies. Made a promise two years ago to limit knife purchases to models I'll actually use; no more safe queens. Still want one though...

My original first run tanto bladed Cold Steel Recon 1. It was my first tanto style blade (turns out I don't like them at all), and my first knife with an Axis lock (which I do like quite a bit). I lost it in a motorcycle accident, woe is me.

Also my Bucklite 422 and my Spyderco Endura (one of the early ones with the integrated plastic pocket clip). Both lost in ways I don't remember.

Siiiiiiigh (fights back tears) , I miss the Benchmade 710 , Benchmade-HK 14255 Tanto , Spyderco Yo2 in S90V/CF and ZT 0620 CF.

ZT 0200 is the one that I regret selling, and selling for cheap ($110 LNIB except a mirror polished edge):(

I miss the Becker BK15 (luckily my search for a spare came to an end today and someone listed one I could buy) ... thank you!

I miss ZT 550s and 560s

hopefully I can get anything else that I would be missing before they go extinct!!!

-Benchmade 806 AFCK - I should have kept that one forever.

-Spyderco Native 5 G10 - I bought one, and sold it. Missed it so much I bought another. Now I will never sell the one I have. :) I carry the Native 5 G10 more than any other knife I have ever owned.

I miss my cruwear manix2, I misplaced it at work, or it got lifted, one of the two or a combination. I bought a nice jade M4 replacement, but it's not the same. 20180308_140420-555x652.jpg

I also miss my Zann I traded and a GB1 I sold on a whim.

As an 11 year old kid I traded a Puma White Hunter that had belonged to my Dad for a Kabar skinner to a kid in my neighborhood.

My original Benchmade AFCK - sold it like a fool.

1995 at the Riddle of Steel I had a chance to buy a Terzuola M30 - passed on it like an idiot.

While in the Army I really liked my Benchmade 970. Toyed around with placing an order with Emerson for the custom version CQC-7, but was hesitant about spending around $300 on a knife.

Never pulled the trigger on the original Spyderco Lil'Temperance. Secondary market prices have kept me from getting one. At least I got the new one.

Wish I had grabbed the original Microtech Tachyon. Wasn't much into butterfly knives at the time and I wanted to use the $100 towards something else.

Handled a osage handled puukko by Brian Andrews/Off the Map knives at PWYP that was outstanding. Spent the money on another knife, then ran into some financial issues. By the time I could finally get one he'd quit making knives.

I'm sure there is more, that's just off the top of my head

Wow, that comment about the Puma White Hunter really touched a raw nerve. Way back in the day, I traded an old one that was in the original two-toned plastic box. It was called the Auto Messer and sported a gorgeous exotic handle...

In a fit of madness, I traded it for a run of the mill Buck 120. Live and learn! Both knives have long since graduated to new, loving homes.

Wish I still had the Puma.
