I really want a Mayo Moran-style Bowie. It's not that I can't obtain one - they are available often enough. More of having the disposable cash when one pops up. I suppose I'd like a Terzuola ATCF would be a nice addition as well.

In this topic, people say good things about Tom Mayo both as a person and otherwise: https://www.bladeforums.com/threads/tell-me-more-about-tom-mayo.745922/

What gives?
He makes a nice knife, no doubt. Which is why this Hawkbill TNT is one of my grails. I've had run-ins with him at knife shows and he went on a tirade about how I stole one of his designs when I had my knife made. It was a sketch I drew up that he got upset about, and naturally the fanboys egged him on when the actual knife looked nothing like any of his except that the handle has holes 😆 . unless he has a patent on holes and wharncliffes, he needs to keep his mouth shut.

Microtech SOCOM Elite. They’ve been out of stock at my favorite dealers for months. Also , Spyderco Military in digicam G10. Nowhere to be found. But I’ll keep looking.

I really want a Cold Steel Warcraft Tanto XL. Not sure why, but I do.

I have the large, and the love the 3V steel.

Out of stock everywhere for a while now, but I keep checking the FS forum every few days with fingers crossed.

I’ve been on the lookout for the DLT exclusive Hinderer XM-18 skinny no choil slicer in m390. Still no joy.

1. An old katana. Ok it´s not a knife, but it´s the only blade, which I can´t obtain and I want it really bad.
2. Japanese honyaki kitchen knife. One day I´ll get it and it will be the most important object of my kitchen.
3. A puukko knife made by Rannanjärvi. It´s an important piece of my nation´s knife making history
4. A Jakutian knife. It´s pretty hard to find a proper Yakutian knife outside Yakutia. Most likely I have to go to Yakutsk one day and find the knife I´looking for.
5. A traditional tanto.
6. Erik Frost No. 9-11
7. Erik Frost No. 33-38

Did I miss something important🤔
Maybe somebody will drop a mizu honyaki in your stocking as a gift one day if you stick around.

That ZT Rexford was hard to get. However, A.G. Russel had a version for a while after the rest of the batch was long gone. I picked one up then. It was a little more blackwash than copper but it’s hard to tell the difference at a casual glance.

I happen to be fortunate getting some knives. I got a Kershaw 4040 Ruby pretty easily. I heard they sold out in just over a minute so I don’t know how I managed that.

I have overpaid for a couple knives on the exchange just to get what I wanted. I still have them so there was no buyers remorse.

Good luck with your search for a Rexford.

Al Mar Falcon, one of the Seki models from Moki (not G. Sakai---already have that one), in cocobolo or black micarta.

Buck 302 Solitaire in black sawcut Valox.
