Knives you will never part with?

knives and guns, once in my possession, rarely are sold/traded. I've given away some as gifts, generally to family or very close friends.

in the spirit of the thread - i have a old timer folding hunter that was my grandfathers, that has done lots of work on fish and game over the years. My father passed it to me when I killed my first. Also have a Buck Mayo Cutback that was given to me as a gift at a good friends wedding and has been my daily carry ever since (over 10 years now).

Benchmark 710 M2. A classic knife with GREAT steel. I like much better than M4... Sold all the M4's.

Spyderco Manix 2 S90V steel. A fantastic knife, blade is phenomenal.

My dad gave me an old USA made Boker that belonged to my late grandpa. He said it was the last knife he carried before passing away. My grandpa died in 1984 and the large blade is pretty worn down, so it's hard to say how old the knife is.

There are a few but the first one that comes to mind is a small Jimmy Lile folder I bought from him at a gun show back in 1976. The knife was carried daily for over 25 yrs - it's got some wear on it but it is still locks up solid as a rock with zero blade play in any direction..

Sweet Lile. I see a fair number of Lile knives at gun shows in MO and AR, but I don't have the cash now they are collectible. Should have bought one in the 1990s. Came real close though :)
