  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Knives you wished Buck made

You might want to check out the older models, 424 and 444. They have the same size blades as the 501, but with FRN handles. The 424 is still available from dealers, and the 444 is discontinued but readily available on the secondary market.
Also the 484, it is my favorite profile, I just wish they did it in other colors than black and orange (which is a pinkish orange. Well they did do a glow in the dark one, and the one I have is the only one I have seen.

I almost forget about the 484 and its bigger brothers, the 482 an 486 - yes its a strange numbering system on the Bucklite Max's. They were a great series with the one hand opening thumb studs and really decent deep carry pocket clips. Here is a 501 with 424, 444 and 484.

419 Custom Shop. They’ve done the Folding Kalinga in both brass and nickel, so let’s do it.

It would be nice if Buck expanded their USA made slip joints with premium blade steel , more patterns and different covers .

I’d also like to see some scalloped handle scales with a swelled middle like the September 2019 botm 110. I have the 112 version and it is so nice for my old hands. I can grip better and longer with more handle to fill my hand. It don’t have to be cocobolo or anything exotic I’d be happy with micarta , g10 or dymawood even.

I'd like Buck to do something like this.

I seem to be the only one, but I find the handle on the 212 way too large for the knife's size.
not following ya on handle size. I got little girl sized hands....

if it were any smaller it'd be harder to hold and use even with my tiny little girl sized hands.

The 212 handle feels fine in hand but it didn't carry as other knives I have of a similar size due to the bulk of the handle.
I'm not doing any heavy cutting with my EDC belt knives, so I'm perfectly fine with a smaller handle if it means the knife carry's more comfortably.

If they used the 102 woodsman handle I wouldn't have changed a thing.
