Probably beating the dead horse on this one but:

Knivesshipfree is a great place to order your knives. Recently purchased a GEC Cotton Sampler there and found it to be the lowest available price on the net along with having it shipped free and promptly. There was a delay with USPS, but that was well outside the control of the shipper and the fella I spoke to on the phone was polite and friendly in explaining the issue with the tracking number. I would gladly order another GEC from them and already have my eye of a #68 :D

I love ordering from them and looking over the site. Stand up company and people.

I agree. Not only gec but benchmade. I placed a preorder for the 940-1. When it came in they sent me an email. I called and asked them to make sure the blade was centered. The nice lady said that they set some aside that were nicer than the rest and would send me one. Very cool. Good people.

Good people. But just be aware they have a 20% restocking fee on returns.
Took me by surprise.

Took me by surprise.

As clearly stated on their returns page, with reasoning as to why: http://www.knivesshipfree.com/shipping-returns/

I understand the idea of paying a restocking fee is not a very nice idea. That is why we have the 100% store credit option. The store credit option allows you to return an item and find a replacement without costing either of us an arm and a leg. The restocking fee covers the very real costs of processing an order, shipping that order, receiving the return, inspecting the return and processing a refund.

I would love to run a site with no such restocking fees, but it just isn't feasable for a small company like ours. I hope you understand, and know that we will go to great lengths to take great care of you.

In my humble opinion, tied with Knifeworks for the most outstanding customer service you will find in the industry....

TIED??? Seriously?

Oh, ok. I guess if I have to be tied with anyone I would like it to be Knifeworks or BladeHQ. Two top shelf dealers. :)

I will throw another vote over to KSF. I have had several positive transactions with them. They are as good as they get online. I also love the rewards program. Nice to know I am building some type of credit and credibility with a vendor. It feels to me, more like a personal relationship than I get anywhere else.

There's nothing worse than spending thousands with an online vendor, then feeling like you are shoved to the back of the line if you need help or need to make a return. I have felt that way online before, but NEVER with KSF.

My first experience with KSF was while my son was on his second deployment. We were talking late one night, 11.5 hour time difference, and I was describing this knife on their website. Within two days it showed up on my doorstep. What a great surprise! I get their weekly newsletter now and would recommend them 110% to anybody.
