Maybe this isn't the right place for this, if so I apologize.

I was searching for a particular knife that is out of stock nearly everywhere as it is being hyped on a bunch of YT knife channels. I found this site above and they had them in stock so I placed an order in the 7th for one.

I have not received anything other than an email of order confirmation. No shipping yet or anything else. While not extraordinary in of itself, I haven't really found any info on them or reviews. I do understand that there are different places that may not be as quick as other online stores. I decided to call today with their number in their website.

It sent me to a voicemail for what sounded like an attorney's office..

If I'm out the money I spent, at the worst it isn't a lot thankfully. But, I was wondering if anyone here has heard of them or has any dealings with them. Their physical address is in Hillesville, VA

If you paid by credit card, call them and have them cancel the charge.

How'd you get your google Fu so strong? 😁😎
Ah, grasshopper...I simply type my request into the space at the top of the browser page and magically the info appears.

Mongo just pawn in game of life.

Haha I stopped using Google because I hate that they show me ads for the thing I searched for 5min ago. I use Duck Duck Go, but sadly it's not as good as Google. They don't spy though.

I use security extensions in my browser to avoid all the b.s.

I've used DuckDuckGo many times, but it just isn't comprehensive enough.

Also Blues Blues I hope you don't mind that I put your quote in my sig. It's amazing how many people won't get a basic membership. Okay I'm done blabbing.

I've filled a dispute with my bank so we shall see what happens.

I have had a near 100% success rate with buying and selling knives over the years. This is my first time getting scammed lol. Hopefully this will help anyone who encounters their site.

Received a refund yesterday, in full from their site. No other communication from them prior to that or since

I kind of wanted the knife more than the money lol. It was an EKA RTG-1. I had ordered some custom scales for it too 😆

Along with the posts above, their physical mailing address is for a gun store with an unrelated name. I guess it really is a scam but IDK.

I think I got refunded in less than 24 hours. Also odd because of they were a scam site I feel like that would have been more challenging. Live and learn

I think the site is legit, despite what AI says.

I think knivesnow.com is the online knife business of Woodlawn Marketplace (woodlawnmkt.com), a physical hardware store that also sells knives. Both businesses have the same address (5055 Carrollton Pike, Suite C, Woodlawn, VA). Woodlawn Marketplace also has a Facebook page. There is a gun store in the same building (Gunslingers), but that is in Suite B at the same address.

It says on knivesnow.com that their PO Box is in Hillsville, VA, and their physical address is in Woodlawn, VA.

I get the impression that there is a person or family named Bowman Griffin that owns several businesses in Virginia (including Woodlawn Marketplace and knivesnow.com). There is an email address on the Woodlawn Marketplace Facebook page with the names Bowman and Griffin in it, and there are other companies in Virginia by the name Bowman Griffin that use the same phone number as knivesnow.com.

I checked the prices on several knives at knivesnow.com, and their prices are actually a little higher than BladeHQ. I don't see any evidence that they have "suspiciously low prices".

And they issued a refund. That's not something a scam site would do.

I never trust AI.
