Knob Creek Pics Fall 2007 (Pic Heavy)

There were two more satin Olive Drab G10 AD's left Saturday afternoon when I left, I do not know if they lasted Sunday or not.

Did you see that SHBM when you got there? I am currently obsessed with it. Before you ask, yes, I BLAME PORKERSON! :p

Thanks for all the photos Eric! I just to explain to the wife why I wanted the flamethrower. ;)

Enough knives already!

Where are the pics of Saturday night's muzzleflashfireballtracerganzaaaa?

Where's the love?:(

well, my proxy advised that it was sold then they got there today so someone around here has a nice new piece of infi... ;)

I was one of the first 3 guys at the Busse booth Friday morning.
Got a FBM with the thick 5/16" blade, dull gray finish, and mag handles.
Rather had a satin finish but didn't see any.
But the dull finish looks almost as good and cost a bunch less.
It's my first Busse but won't be my last.
I think it's awesome looking and built like a tank.
If not for buying two expensive fly reels, recently, I would have bought at least 3 Busses.
Never have cared less about the machine gun shoot, even though I only live about 10 miles from Knob Creek.
Now that Busse has a booth there, I'm glad I only live 10 miles away.
Almost wish I didn't have any custom knives on order so I could get more Busses. :)

Anyone have more pics of knives from the show?

Im guessing the dull gray finish your talking is the double cut finish.
What color are the handles?

I was too distracted to remember the camera while at the table, but here's a couple SFNOs that made it home with me:

there was another sweet one, just like the one on top, except with an urban grey blade.

it didn't make it into the pics, but it's a beauty :thumbup:

Eris,

Great pictures and an obviously fun day! In your top knife picture, what is the base knife for this Swamp Rat custom - the black blade/scupted handle one inbetween #207 and #210? Thanks for sharing, Bill

Bill,
That appears to be from an M6 blank, it was a very nice knife, hand sculpted handles, nice blade shape. I do not remember the price offhand though. Drop me an email if you have any additional questions on this blade.

:D:D

The color of the handles is what I would call a dull or burnt orange finish.
Kind of looks brown also.
So, it's between orange and brown, I guess. :)
Sorry, ignorant about the Busse colors and their names.
Will post a pic when I get a new scanner as my current one's on the blink. :(
Went back and looked at the pics on the first page.
The knife in the 4th post with tag #41 has the same color handles as my knife.
What color is that suppossed to be ?

Very nice. Interesting that these CG SFNO now are flat ground, while the original series were a sabre grind. It would be nice to see spine shots that compare them. May I ask what those cost? PM, if you want.
