I just got home from Knob Creek and as usual it was a great time. A great time because of great knives and getting to talk to so many great people. I'm sorry I missed a bunch of you yesterday but I also saw a bunch today.

One thing that was obviously apparent when I got there at about 8 AM (got in early because I was working the show ;) ) was that there were a lot of knives missing. Upon questioning Garth is appears that Paddling Man, RonyBear, GravelFace and Hunter660 had a large part to do with this ;) It is my personal opinion if you don't get what you want from this extravaganza you should probably blame one of those 4 guys ;)

All the knives over 6" blade length except for the AK's were sold before I arrived (I am uncertain whether there are more at the shop so try for everything you want in the extravaganza).

Here are a few pics I took of the table when I first got there this morning. These are all the blades that were left to sell, except for a few M6's and Ratchets under the table.

Here are a few pics of some of the people hanging out at the table today.

And here is a shot as I was getting ready to leave, this is the back of the firing line and the smoke is from the burning fuel drums they have shot all day ;)

By the time I left this evening there was next to nothing left but a couple of custom Game Wardens, a Custom Leaner Street a few SJTacs and 2 HR's.

 Let's not forget the Stealth Hog who bought the MOASK in the hotel lobby on Thursday night! ;)

Sorry to have missed some of you guys. Maybe next time.

(You should have caught the smell when the rental flamethrowers starting burning the fiberglass boats on the range!!)

Eric, it was good to see and talk to all you guys today. My son and I had a
great time as usual. Bye the way, I love my new Hell Razor.

Did I miss where this one was listed? That is my avatar knife and I would love to have a spare.

Great to see you again as well and I'm glad you got that knife, they were selling quick when I left

:D:D

Eric, thanks for the photos! It's too far from where I live, otherwise I'd go.
I didn't see the Snakeskin SJTAC listed in the Ganza.
"By the time I left this evening there was next to nothing left but a couple of custom Game Wardens, a Custom Leaner Street a few SJTacs and 2 HR's."
Does that mean we fought for nothing in the ganza tonight?

I wouldn't say that. I have no idea what if anything was left at the shop that wasn't completely finished prior to the show. There is always hope ;)

:D:D

Now there is one happy GF!!

So did he bring any mud bugs with him for lunch??

That looks like quite a bit, if you ask me. Heck, if Pork(spit)ducci was there, there would be absolutely NOTHING left... :p

In the past the Knob Creek shows have been busy on Friday, but the big days have always been Saturday. The HOG's changed all the rules this year ;)

Garth said Friday at 9 AM looked more like Blade Show when the doors opened

I'm going to have to change my HOG tactics for the next show ;)

:D:D

Re: next Creek

I would have gone with sleeping in a camo'ed pit next to the Busse table.

But now it sounds like I'm going go to have to stake out the hotel lobby. Maybe disguise myself as a potted plant. :D

I think they'll be keeping their hotel plans "top secret" for the next show ;)

Hog treachery was at an all time high for this show....a cloven hoof salute to the winners at the trough
