Knob Creek Pics!!!

Looks like a good time. I hope no one made a special trip to the show with the hope of getting anything. Note to self never bother fighting to be the first person through the gates open because that is already hours late.

If they did make a special trip there was plenty of good stuff at the open of each day's show. All the knives but 2 were available first thing Friday, and there were a lot of custom pieces left Saturday morning (several left Saturday evening as well) some pieces were gone but that is to be expected of any show, custom or production. I wouldn't hesitate to drive to get there, I wouldn't come at 3 PM on Sunday but that is just poor planning...you know all that "early bird" stuff ;)

However, if you choose not to be early and try for the good stuff I'm sure a lot of other HOG's will be happy to buy the stuff your not there for ;)

:D:D

True. Ronybear and I were there when it opened Friday. Everything on 'ganza pages was there (including 3-4 that weren't on the page) except the MOASK.

I picked up what is shown in the pic.

Wait!! What am I saying?!?! No one else wants to come to these things. Nothing, I repeat, NOTHING is available! :D

I am sure that there were some nice pickings for the masses. I do think it is a shame that the two MOASKs were sold the night before the show since it was posted that they would be available at the show itself.

For a dealer I think it is pretty hard to pass up almost $4 grand so that people can "see" them at a show, especially when there is no guarantee that they will sell to anyone else. ;)

Personally I think it is story that will go down in HOG lore ;)

:D:D

Come now, there was no chance that they would not sell at the show and even if by some strange event they didn't I am sure that they would have sold durning the "Liliputianganzaaaa". I am sure that there are orders for them that will go unfilled because they are not available. That said I can more then undertsand the sure thing sell. That is a lot of money after all. If I wasn't sure that it would sell I would have done the same thing myself. Just pointing out the fact that it sucks for anyone that did go to the show hoping for a chance to get such a unique and once in a lifetime Busse. It should go down in HOG lore. I will take a lesson from it. I know now that just because a blade is supposed to be available at a show, doesn't make it so. Not only do you have to go to a show to even have a small chance to get a knife that is supposed to be there but you have to get there the day before, go to the right hotel and know who to look for and buy from.;) Getting in the trough can be tough.

They could still be ordered through the Extravaganza. No one ever said that there was only going to be one pair and I was under the impression that they would make more if there were orders.

As far as if they would sell at the show, I know I wasn't planning on buying them and I buy quite a few pieces. I'd love to have them just out of my range.
:D:D

I would have liked to have seen them offered without serrations at a more affordable price. ;)
I sure hope those that do get them post pics for all us piglets to droooool over.
