Hey guys, sorry, there's no pics here of Knob Creek SFNOs. Actually, I was surprised to seen some nice saber SFNOs in a couple of the pics. A while back the shop had said they couldn't even make a custom one because all the blanks or molds or sumtin' for the sabers were gone, but that was before the LE, so maybe these are from left-over SFNOLE blanks, or maybe they can now make 'em? Did anyone get a shot of all the SFNOs on the table? I wasn't expecting any at the show, so didn't line up a proxy, but if there are some nice ones left and a Hog doesn't mind picking up one or two for me, shoot me a PM! Thanks

I saw those in the pics and was thinkin' the same thing. One of the greatest Busse designs ever IMO. I would have been very tempted had I been lucky enough to attend.

The Sabre grind with G-10 and Satin are the ones! I'd love to have that with orange G-10 as my perfect Busse!

In addition to those two posted by Soulrack, this pic shows 4 more (plus an LE). Looks like two in black canvas, one in black G-10, and one in orange/black G-10, all with mags. Are these old-stock or new-stock?

Yeah, I saw that, gimme. For a nice profit it seems, but the buyers also got a good deal. Just seems weird to see new CG sabers popping up. Sure would like to know the story behind that, and if we can expect to see more of 'em at shows etc. Or if these are old-stock.

I've been trying to get a proxy to pick up something like the first one in the first picture. Proxy's are hard to find!

Yeah, if someone picked up the Pumpkin Sabre SFNO in the above picture. You are one lucky hog!!!

Good thought there Jason. How does one tell between black G-10 and black paper?

One asks Garth. Nicely.:)

They were not black paper.

I guess I should have asked you if you were still in the market. Honestly, I just assumed you might have "SFNO'd out." Sorry about that.:(

There were SO MANY great knives there I actually got "knife shock." Didn't buy a thing for 15 minutes ... but I carried around as many as I could hold until the shock went away.:D:thumbup:

Lets see what you scored Jamie!!!

Were there any nice SK's??:thumbup::cool:

Thanks Jamie! I appreciate the thought! There's always a NEXT TIME! :D

At least I ended up with one of those satin/g-10 ones in a roundabout way, but heck, at those KC prices, I woulda bought the two black G-10 ones and the two black linen ones! Wait, did I say black linen? Well that's what they look like to me. Canvas usually looks more grey, right? Heck I woulda bought them even if they're canvas.

That's the problem with Hogs like me. At least I don't show up to these things and be the first one to the table. More love for the other Hogs .

Aside from asking Garth--Nicely--I wonder how you were so sure of that.

Prolly cause I bought one!!;)

Another way I assumed they werent was because I have never seen black paper mags.
Like snakeskin, black paper only comes in standard size.
