Knob Creek Spring 2009

If I would only have hit Powerball on Wednesday, I would have bought all 3 of the giant MOAB's pictured. :)
I was afraid to go to the show this year for fear I would be tempted to get one.
I want a H&K Mark 23 pretty bad and I thought it was expensive at $2,000.00 :)
I should have went though as I only live 15 miles from Knob Creek.

funny you mention the powerball:) I awoke this morning to the thought that I had hit the Powerball. For 3 or 4 min. I was bothered by checking my iphone and check the numbers. well ladies and gents I hit the powerball! 14! Yes, just the dang powerball number:thumbdn::cool::rolleyes:

+1 on that. It does look tiny next to those MOABs but still I reckon I culd've given it a good home.

The reason I want to go to Blade09 is to meet Jerry, Amy-O, Garth, and the rest of the gang, to be inducted as a HOG(shake the mans hand) and to meet some of you HOGs that I talk with everyday here. But next year I am going to Knob Creek for sure. I would try and go to both but I am a po boy and have to save money all year just to go to one show, I would have to save for two years to be able to make two shows.


It looks like a lot of fun though and as much as I love guns and knives and sweets it should be a no brainer which show I would enjoy the most. If Jerry and Amy-0 would go to KC then that would make it perfect!!

If you like handguns, Knob Creek has among the best and biggest selections I have ever seen!
All the great ones are there. :thumbup:
I go there several times a year just to look at their handgun selection. :cool:
 
Doby, the last few years knob creek has been better for knives IMO, just seems the knife to hog ratio is higher...

But Blade has lots of knives and lots of Hogs, makes for an amazing party, you won't regret saving for and going to Atlanta!!!

It was VERY cold there on Friday.... too cold for any sane person to be out in it all day!! So, I guess we HOGS who went are not sane.... Oh, well, as they say, "NO REGRETS!" I'm back in Indiana snuggled up in my recliner with blanket and dog. Getting warm now!!

Had a WONDERFUL time at the Creek! The INFI-nite amount of BLADES was phenominal... Time for more hot chocolate now!!

I have to agree the bolo looks like a winner. I wasn't a fan of the protos in the recent Ganzaa but that blade is a different story. It looks kind of like a butchers knife on steroids. See what I mean:

Finally, that is the first Moab photo with good scale. With the hand, and the NMFBM's in the shot, you really realize how truly massive it is.

I have been waiting for exactly that type of photo.
