Knob Creek Update

DANG you make some awesome cheesecake, girl!! We broke into the strawberry and Heath Bar last night. Mowing away at it like savages - eating it with our hands like slices of pizza.

All I have to say? Somebody in that room must have been... Uh... Lactose intolerant?! Whew!

Thanks, Garth and crew, for working the long hours to get this haul ready for Knob Creek. Of course, a big hug to Amy for the cheesecake!

Any one of you hopefully all of you

I need to plan for the Ganza

Pictures and reports of the Creek please! I may not be able to go - heck at this point I could not even buy anything - but its always great to hear and SEE all the goings on and the blades being offered.

And of course we need CHEESECAKE PICS!! :D:eek::rolleyes:(take that anyway you want.....)

OP is so sad he isn't going - I told him to go but you know that darn JOB gets in the way - he was supposed to be off today and he left at 5 to go in....

I was at Knob Creek this morning.

Garth and the gang brought it.

There was a bunch of INFI but a lot the good, big stuff disappeared quickly.

Still plenty of SH-1's left.

A couple of impressive Mr. Mojo's with wood handles (one satin, one double cut) were still hanging there when I left.

There are still tons of AD's and MrS customs on the table.

Photos of my haul later.

You tell those helping hogs to stay away from my INFI! :D Sorry, got carried away there for a second. :D

It looked like a few of the helping hogs sampled some of the INFI early.

When the show opened they were just sitting around instead of storming the trough like this piglet. :D :D

I just got back from my first trip to Knob...and was it ever a BLAST. Great to meet GARTH and gang...as well as a few seasoned HOGS who were very helpful and informative...thanks ronybear, Paddling_man, Drew...I learned a lot!! Here are some pics of three that I scored (Sorry I need to work on my picture skills).

Is that a Flying Fusion Battle Mistress?

Garth called it an FBM Variant...but I think it could be described as flying. What say the rest of you HOGS??

Here's my catch from the Creek.......

It was great to talk with Garth, Drew, and the HOGS that were there Friday morning.

When I asked him about that blade... he said it had teeth like the original flying tiger.

Nice score!

Bro, that SFNO is outa this world. Amboyna burl handles. NICE!!!!

Wow, they had flat ground CG SFNO? That looks great! And there are still Rat Traps hanging around the shop? I thought I got the last two from Hammie at a Columbus show back in spring.

Mark, it was great to finally meet you. And yes, I would call that a Flying Fusion Battle Mistress! Man, you got some sweet knives. If I had some extra money those may not have been there. Enjoy!!! April, '08, Knob Creek we will plan better than this one, deal?

ronybear...it's a deal. I wouldn't miss Knob Creek in April for anything. Thanks again!!
