This afternoon I went for some Tacate, Limes and some Warsteiner when I looked down at those racks that they have at the cash register. I should say all my life the only dark alcohols I liked was Rum and some Jim Beam once in a while. Can't stand whiskey like JD, but I noticed one of those little sampler type bottles of KNOB CREEK BOURBON and said what the heck. Got home and cracked the top and tried it straight. I always said if you can tolerate something straight then mixed is a piece of cake. OMG this stuff is AWESOME. Very smooth and just a great flavor. So now I know what I've been missing, I'm feeling a stupid moment coming on. Dude this stuff is FREAKEN AWESOME!!!!!!!!;) :p

So what chall dranking tonight???
 
I'm really looking forward to KC too, too bad it's in a month :(

For me, Maker's Mark. I think it'll be the last of the good stuff for a while, but for the moment...

Shoot Bro I wish I could but it most likely will be next year. After I retire I want care and it won't matter:)
 
Prichrid's double barrel bourbon. It's from kelso TN. It is much butter than knob creek IMHO. I do like single barrel jack Daniels though.

Make mine IBC, or DP:) To make it to KC (the one in Kentucky), I'll have to bail on a Rugby match and skip one of the bigger gun shows in the area. Had big plans to go this year, with a hefty shop credit. However, Garth's done an excellent job of depleting the credit, and I may even owe them money now:) LOL....

Bro! I went to the L store yesterday to score some buttwhipers and took advantge of the sample bar at the L store. They didnt have the normal 80 proof stuff to sample but they did have the 120 proof stuff. When they told me 120 I said oh hell no, but Ill be darned, it was solid as heck! No Joke, best HARD (over 80) booze Ive ever had Cheers

Wait! There is a sample area at for booze? I'm not sure that I'd leave :eek:
 
Omg samples? Of booze. Is there a time limit?

The best HARD liquor I've ever had was Stroh Inlander Rum. 80% and sippable.
I can't find it in the States, though.
