that is the best handle work I have seen come out of the shop. Good work to whomever did it. Amy, who was the artisan, Garth, or JWB??

Yes, mine play with the light like water as well. Here are some different light angles. See the stripes are dark in the tops photos and light in the bottom :thumbup: very cool effect.

The Blue dyed handles of the ASH-1 are really something else... Just beautiful wood, and although the SFNO's handles are also very impressive, not to take away from THOSE cool wooden handles..., I was pretty one-tracked today looking to catch the ways the ASH-1's handles rippled in the sunlight... :D:D

I've seen a lot of Spalted Maple in my days, but that is some of my favorite.
Can't quite nail down why though!:foot:;):D

Don't worry. I'll get over it. I just need to buy something cool so I can show off. Something is in the works ...
