ill have to check out the videos on my lunch that might be helpful i had to fix my native 5 rex 45 on it yesterday and aside from the slightly uneven bevels it turned out pretty well with the cheap knock off diamond stones. i figured if i could fix up the clamp and find a way to make the stone holder one piece of rod i have a good chance making it a little more useful.

So not sure if you understand but what did he do to the part that was in the clamp cause thats deff an issue I have. I couldn't tell if he reemed it out or what.

So first video he adds a hex nut for extra friction to eliminate jiggle
Second video
It appears all he does is TIGHTEN a little extra until its the clamp is perpendicular
the disassembly/round file demo is just to show how/why its not perpendicular

hm I'll have to re watch the first video with the hex nut again I missed that and the other video I did what he did and it's still off center. I guess since my stim check will be here this week I'll buy a kme hab
