Knockout in G-10

Not sure if Kershaw is making these again but this guy in eBay has some. I already have the aluminum one and I can't stop spending all of my extra cash on surefire flashlights so I'm not jumping on this.



Here is his reply when I asked him to double check that it was G-10


"Yep, just checked. definitely G10".

Thanks for sharing the info. He probably found old stock sitting around... or they are making some more in G10

I think I know who has them...just sent that seller a message, we'll see if he says the same. If so...then one of them is mine. :D
 
You guys are killing my budget! I checked after I got to work this morning, and the guy had 2 left, so I ordered one. I am going to have to wait until after the first of the year to order the aluminum version... It's a good intention, anyway... lol!
 
Caution. One of the ebay sellers that's advertising G-10, is actually drop shipping the aluminum version from Amazon, where you could buy it direct for $60. I messaged him before the purchase and he told me they were G-10. NOT SO!!

Would that be the seller who has them for the higher or lower price? Or you could PM me who it is...
 
Received and replied. So far, so good. I'll find out tomorrow if I do indeed get the G10 version. Thank you! :D
 
I'd advise caution -- every time I've called any dealer advertising a G10 Knockout it's turned out to be a mistake because they hadn't changed the original specs.
 
I just picked up a Knockout and I have been impressed with how light it is and how thin it is. I think the Knockout design makes more sense with an aluminum handle since I think the aluminum would be stronger than G10. I think a good compromise would be a Knockout with aluminum handles and G10 slabs for scales like the RAM. This would make it thicker and heavier, but it have a better grip and would not get knicked as badly from everyday carry.
 
I actually prefer the slick feel of the aluminum. It's better for retrieving from and placing back in the pocket. I just want the G10 model for fun and my collection. :D
 
*sigh* Got the Knockout...aluminum. What a drag. Contacting the seller now for a return. Their listing is the only one left that still says G10, but unless I got the wrong one, their listing is wrong like the others.

If anyone actually got a G10 version, let me know... Kind of a buzzkill on my day. Oh well.

Yeah I contacted GPKnives on this because they were showing a G10 one but they were selling the Alum version ..
 
I think this is the most bummed I've been this year...probably beats the red Skyline I missed out on a couple months ago. BLAST IT ALL!!
 
Suckage. I guess I got really lucky when I got the first ever Knockout off the line from Thomas :)
