Knockout in G-10

I messaged both guys that had them listed as G10 the other day and never heard a word back. Didn't take any chances from there.........

I was hoping to pick up a G10 for the collection too.
 
I discovered the KO quite recently and was totally all hyped up about it, till I learned that I cannot get the G10 version. Aluminum is nice but prefer the G10 as I intend to use the knife and Alum gets all nicked up which I dislike about it.

I contacted a few sellers on ebay last week and none had the G10, it seems a lucky few found a seller with some good for you. Since I cannot get the G10, the KO is bumped down in my priorities.

Really hope Kershaw brings back the G10 version. I'd like to put one through its paces, seems like a great knife.

Naw, the knockout has way more belly than any spyderco except maybe the lion spy.
 
I finally got an answer from the bay dealer:

"Out of stock now, but it seems our latest stock was aluminum after all, not G10. More on order but they will be aluminum too."

Glad I didn't order one -- sorry for those who did.
 
The one I got was aluminum too. Sent him a message demanding a pre-paid call-tag for the return shipping and a refund, since he misrepresented the item. I should have known; if it seems too good to be true...

That's the one that I ordered from, got the aluminum. I'm not sure what he checked, but either he didn't, or he had one that was G10 and the rest weren't.
 
FINALLY found a knockout on the fleabay.ca, and I bought one on sight for myself (shamelessly close to christmas, to boot). :eek: :thumbup:

Whatever! I've been pulling crazy hours at work lately so I can afford it. :D Really looking forward to getting my hands on one of these at last...

This is the same vendor that I purchased from; I opened a case against him on the 'bay, and encourage everyone else who he screwed over to do the same. We need to send a message that it's not ok to misrepresent a product. BTW, it reminds me why I don't do much buying there anymore.
 
Wow the really sad thing is he said he opened and said " Yep, just checked. definitely G10."

I just sent him the definition of g10 and aluminun .

Consider that a peek behind the curtain when some dealers say they have checked your order for QC and found it to be just fine!
