Ive been looking for a camp/survival fixed blade in the ">4.5 blade length range but its been so difficult to find 1 bigger than that especially 1 thats full tang and not hollow ground and under 200$. I may just go custom if this doesnt work out but i would really like to just buy 1 and wait for it to ship. Going to be used for batoning, notching, starting fires, etc

Word on the street is many of the Nordic brands (Mora, helle, marttiini, bruseletto) use 12c27 as their "stainless" Steel...

Enzo Trapper in 12c27 is stainless Sandvik and full tang. Plus you can just buy the blade and add your own scales if you want.

Check out the EKA W12. I recently acquired one in a trade and it is a fantastic knife. Sandvick, thick stock, comfy handle, nice sheath and the fit and finish are excellent. At around $100 it is an absolute bargain in my book. Mine even came with a Fero rod

What about Mora, don't they have sandvik blades as well?

ZT 0160 and 0170 both have Sandvik 14C28N. Both are discontinued now, so they maybe hard to find.

Muela of Spain is also known to use Sandvik steels, e.g. Kodiak in 14C28N (pic from boker's site):

Prices will vary...

Buck has fixed blades in that steel. Most are around 4-4.5 these ones I have seen in person.
