Koa caping knife

This is a modification of a caping knife I have made a lot of. I'm actually liking this profile better. Still needs pants and sharpened.

1084 steel
Stabilized Koa handle
Stainless pins and tube

I didn't take measurements on it but included a picture of it in hand for size reference. Koa is hard to photograph to show how nice it is.

That looks very handy and is cleanly done...plus I like Koa :D

Can't really tell from pictures, but if I had a suggestion, it would be to bevel the front of the scales a bit more- IMHO that adds a nice touch on these little knives, and minimizes the end grain look

Billf I would agree with that looking back I think I could have thinned the handle down and tapered it more towards the front too. Thanks for the comment.
 
Nice, I especially like your grids. Bill offered good advice on beveling the front of scales.
Might want to start working towards tapering your tangs as that elevates a knife a level IMO.
Very nice finish on your Koa.
