I just completed an exceptional transaction today, with STeven (Kohai999), here on the forum. He listed a BG42 Military Sprint Run with CF scales. Even though I was out of State, I sent Steven a PM, letting him know that I would really like to buy this knife. I also asked, if we could do our second FTF cash transaction a few days later, after I returned back home to SoCal. He agreed.
I met with Steven, today, at this awesome local sandwich shop (Lobster West) on the HWY 1 PCH in the cool surf town of Encinitas. We ate lunch & talked knives for about an hour & had a great time. Steven is one of the most knowledgeable knife guys, that I have had the pleasure conversing with.
That Spyderco Military with the BG42 steel blade & CF scales: was dead mint! It came in a perfect condition, older black Spyderco box, the blade absolutely perfectly centered with a rock solid lockup...
