Mace Vitale (JS) Fighter/Utility: Original owner, bought from Mace at Blade in 2008. Unused, and never carried. 11" OAL with a 6 and 3/4" cutting edge. Spine thickness is a solid .280 at the ricasso, and made from W2 with a great hamon with a subtle taper to a sturdy tip. Unsharpened false edge. Handle is green and black cord wrapped over red underwrap with the red being very subtle and the whole handle epoxy impregnated. Bought from the maker in 2008, original edge and in pretty much perfect condition with no scratches, scuffs or oxidation. It's been a safe queen. Great sheath from a great maker, as well. Mace was the winner of this years ABS competition in the catagory of Best Antique Bowie at Blade 2025. This one may not be in the antique catagory, but it handles like a dream and has a presence. Price is $300 shipped....$280...$250...$225...$200...$180 shipped.

Koji Hara/Liong Mah Bamboo Integral: One of Liong's first collaborations from at least 20 years ago, made by the Japanese master of grinding, Koji Hara. Original owner. 3" compound ground blade with hollow main edge and convexed tip. OAL is 6.75", and is made from about 1/2" stock of Daido Steel's Cowry-Y PM steel, out of production for years and unavailable today. Spine thickness of the blade comes in at about 3/8" depending on where you measure it. Hand rubbed satin finish for the flats of the blade and tip, with the remainder of the knife hand textured. Blade is in excellent shape with a scuff/scratches that can be seen on the convex tip on the right hand side, as you can see in the photo. Left hand side of the blade is perfect, and is uncarried. Sheath does have storage wear/patina as well. SOLD, with that price reflecting the scuff and sheath wear at a couple of hundreds less then what the last one sold for a few years ago. It's a very rare beast of a small blade, and difficult to let go of after all these years.
