Hello,

I was asked about EDC with D2(Bohler K110) knife.

This is knife with a long and hard story.
It was made as Albion two years ago.
Then it apears I grind the steel to much to this steel and this hardness.
After short tests it had broken tips 3 times.
So I decided to pass around this knife to do ANYTHING with it.
Broking in purpose and chopping anvil was forbidden - that's all ;)

I have changed grinds make tip stronger and put CE fo 25 degrees.

The knife before:

Knife prepared for pass around test.

You can watch test on this video - it is in Polish but still you can watch what D2(K110) can withstand in hardness of 60 HRC and properly made grinds.
It taught me a lot.

Now I changed grinds once more make stonewash make smoother scales and new sheath WILL be made. My standard one ;)

As you can see - KNIFE WILL SURVIVE ;)

J.
