I'm looking at getting a Korth framelock. I've read very good things about Korth's balis, that they're top notch and very smooth with the IKBS bearings. Has anyone owned or handled a Korth folder? Can you comment on quality, F&F, etc.

Thanks for any info.

I personaly know the Lala Brothers who are Korth Cutlery and they surely know how to make a great bali. The IKBS system is so good that some balimakers are getting licences to use the technology. I have also handled lots of their knives in local Brazilian shows and they are excelent. Even the IKBS prototypes were well finished and operated in very smooth action. I say go for it man, you won't regret.

Great folders from two great guys! You will do well with any model you choose.

I had a Korth framelock that wasn't IKBS, but it was still pretty smooth. It's a quality knife for sure, Nathan.

Nice call, be sure to place your own impressions when you get your bali. Seet fliping dude!

Which framelock are you getting? I like the Castle a lot because it is stout and the Stinger a lot because it's a flipper. IKBS in a flipper is an outstanding idea!

I looked at the Stinger, and I do want a flipper very much, but decided to go with a Palace model. Little bit thinner than the Stinger and a smaller wharncliff blade, which I'm a sucker for. You know how it goes though...if I like the Palace I'll probably end up getting a Stinger somewhere down the line.
