Always loved his knife making style. Ordered Jan 7 of this year. Been super patient and understanding. Except I kept seeing other knives being made and delivered/sold. The negative threads made me uncomfortable. I am starting a PayPal dispute if I don't get a voluntary refund immediately.

I saw that lol. I hope that one worked out.

No reply from Kosa_PL today. I will IM and email him again. I also gave him the chance to settle with a already made knife.

Yeah he's got personal problems. Had to move out because of crazy brother, sick dog, dead cat, cactus needs water you know the normal scamming knife guys excuses.

Ughhh i guess its my fault for giving this guy the benefit of the doubt. no email response. i gave him an out in that i will take another completed knife to make things even. So far no communication.

Once again, I gave been burned by him before, back when he was still starting. Paid for a knife which was supposedly in stock, more than a week passes, no shipping, no contact.
He then came around about how he had been sick and that j shouldn't be complaining. At that point I opened a case with PayPal.

Got my money back and he went on a rant here how he will never make a transaction with a member with no or not many ratings again.

He's actually having some stuff going on right now. Personal and otherwise.

And your point is? What's that matter this isn't his first negative thread. He has stuff going on so customers get screwed? Every post on him he has something going on bad luck is a bitch. Can't provide due to stuff going on don't sell your good till you can make your customers right. Lately a few providers seem to be having a lot of stuff going on. And the customers seem to suffer.

Honestly, who cares? It is always the risk of a one person business (and that is what we are talking about, business, money for goods/services) that you can't compensate like a big company can.
Why should he be given any more leeway than a company? Because he is a member of the community? Because it is easier to relate to as an individual?

This would be a 10 page flame thread if benchmade or Spyderco had taken somebody's money and not delivered.

When he took my money he was to sick to send the package (okay, I guess) and to sick to answer any mail or message.
Shit happens, right? Just seems like it happens again and again to some people, and always with the same excuses...

You're correct Keith.......the common denominator is the customer is ALWAYS the one that gets screwed over.
No matter what the poor maker has going on.......the customer is always the one to suffer.

No doubt about that. He isn't a hundred percent in the right but he wasn't lying about his illness and a couple of other things. I would have personally ceased to continue business until I could have my act together but he made the questionable choice and took orders.

He's 100% in the wrong for one simple reason.
COMMUNICATION. Let your customers know what is going on. Simple as that.
It seems makers and service providers prefer to go dark. Worst possible move to make.

100% this!!! i have waited a solid 10 months before getting upset and if he had simply communicated with me better i would have given him the benefit of the doubt. We are all human. But i am a small biz owner myself, i would never do this.

I received a response from Kosa_PL after numerous emails yesterday! Knife is ready sheath is not. i asked for pics, he said friday, hmmmmmmmm.

How true! I am also a small business owner and got bit by a spider early last summer.....had a bunch of service calls set up for that week. My arm literally blew up tomtwice its size!
Spent couple days in the hospital for that mess. First thing I did was call every customer. Seems pretty simple and obvious.
Most of my customers had a good laugh and they all waited for me.
COMMUNICATION!!!

Hello everyone,

I know that this year I was really unproffesional in matter of terms and communication.

That was resullt of my fight with depression, that almost ended very bad. ( If you know what I mean... :( )
Ended with intervention of some good people and police, and I'm still in the land of living people. ( that was situation of one step and everything is gone)

Also I needed to get back to my parents house, due to costs of living alone in Poland.

I finishing setting up my workshop back to operational state, because due to my debt I needed to selll my grinder and drillpress to get this somehow covered.

But as I say, I finally getting my things setted up back on track, and I also got a additional job as a CNC Operator ( I''m being trained to use CNC mills and lathes).

Again, I'm very sorry for all those problems :(

Good on you Konrad. Some sellers wouldn't bother to put their hand up and say, "I screwed up big time, I apologise." Sorry about all your troubles, and best of luck moving forward.
