This is a very capable marriage between hatchet and knife in a super steel with beautiful finishing materials. 8.5 inches of .22” thick CPM3V steel. 13.75” OAL. Unfinished on the flats, scotch brite (working satin) primary grinds, includes beautifully tooled, heavy leather sheath. Nicely contoured desert ironwood scales over red liners, full tang. Compact, with a very strong blade profile ground to an excellent thin edge—this is made to perform. Dan’s price way back when on this model was $550 with these materials and sheath. I bought it because I had another like this of his in 3V that was my best compact chopper, but was a field model—just a great camping tool.
