This is a one of a kind custom piece made by Dan Koster. The blade is 6" ladder pattern damascus forged by Don Armstrong, which has been etched and blued. Blade is flat grind, with Dan's famous convex edge. Fileworked fittings are of mild steel which has been blued. The handle is fossilized walrus ivory. There is a naturally occurring crack in the ivory visible along the bottom left, which is the result of centuries of weathering. The crack is stable. The fittings and handle have been bedded with super strong Acraglas. The buttcap is pinned with two pins which have been heat colored and countersunk. No sheath. $365
