I recently bought this one from another fella, planning on putting it to work in the kitchen. Then I found Dan's thread about making a complete 3-knife set of kitchen knives someday, and spoke with him. So, I decided to save up for that and get them all with matching handles...or pay some baby-related bills! This one never got used by me, and doesn't appear to have ever been used. Dan said that, although he has a few blanks left, it is unlikely that he will ever make any more of these because of the level of difficulty in grinding the tall, thin profile. According to Dan, the original sale price on this one was $195.
This one is 14.5 inches long, with a 10 inch edge, 1/8 steel, maple handle, brass tube pins, and 2 inches tall in profile just ahead of the handle. Shaving sharp. $180 shipped by USPS Priority, payment by Paypal or USPS MO, etc.
