Q. Do you take orders?
A. Staring Jan 1, 2015, I will no longer be taking orders. I have over 1,000 orders in the books now and while I am pretty quick at making knives, that's still over a year's work left to do. So, I will be spending 2015 doing some catch-up. After that, the ordering process will change to how I do my Bushcraft Folder (pre-order 20 at a time). All existing orders will be completed before the end of 2015.

Q. Do you require a deposit? How do I make a payment?
A. Starting Nov. 1, 2013 I started requiring a non-refundable materials deposit ($75) for all *new* custom orders. This is how the rest of the arts/crafts world operates...and now, that's how I will be operating. Payment options are at the bottom of my homepage: http://kosterknives.com/
Q. Do you take custom one-off orders? (ie. "make my design for me")
A. Nope. I would have to charge $300-600 per knife to break even doing things that way. However, I will gladly consider any one-off orders in quantities over 10.
Q. I'm in a real hurry....or have a birthday deadline....or need it by XX/XX/XXXX.........Can you RUSH my order?
A. Yes, I sure can. Add 25% extra to the total and I will put your order ahead of the 1000+ others waiting in line and RUSH it out the door.
Q. Do you work with any Dealers?
A. Yes. KnivesShipFree.com, SteelAddictionKnives.com, TripleAughtDesign.com, ArizonaCustomKnives.com, WorkingKnives.com, AdventuresInAirguns.com and a few other private International Dealers have (or have had) bulk sales from me. Go there first if you need a quick fix.

Q. How do you take payment?
A. In order of preference: Paypal, Credit Card, US Postal Money Order
Q. How much is shipping?
A. For most knives, shipping is $10. For larger knives, it is $15. I do combine for shipping whenever possible; each additional knife is $5.
International shipping is $25 for small knives, and $50 for most knives. $5 each additional.
Canada is US Express International = $45, $5 additional
Q. What do I do if I need a refund?
A. New policy = Deposits made for materials for new orders placed after Nov 1, 2013 are non-refundable. Any payment beyond the materials deposit will be happily refunded up until the knife is glued up. After glue-up, no payments will be refunded.
Q. Do you accept a transfer of orders?
A. Yes! I will transfer your order on one knife to another knife style. Email me with the necessary details.
