This was a fun knife. The handle is for a full sized knife, but the blade is smaller. If you have ever had a Koster knife, you know the thumb jimping is very aggressive. Well, I did not particularly like that feature on this knife, so I had it removed, thereby creating a nice little divot for your thumb. I much prefer the way it feels now.

The 3V blade steel is super tough and keeps that Scandi edge nice and razor like. The handle is Cocobolo, at least that is what I was told, and it looks like it to me. Comes in a nice Mashed Cat Kydex sheath. I put the smaller TekLock on it.

3" blade with an Overall length of 7 5/8" ground from 3/16" stock.

do you still have the kydex piece for the traveler sheath to make it back into a horizontal belt carry?
 
GetDuck, that would not be possible. Had to remove the points of contact where the two pieces would mate up. You could send the knife to Dozier and they would be happy to make you one though.

This is not a good way to conduct business.
It would be nice of you to tell me that someone else bought the knife, or at least answer my e-mail with request of your paypal address to send money.
 
My mistake.

In the between time where you said you would take it, and my getting your email to send you my PayPal user name, I received a payment for $165.00 for the Arkansas Traveler. I thought you had simply taken a chance that it was the same as my email address, which is correct. So, I did not email you back, thinking it was a payment from you, and shipped the knife.

I am soooo sorry and feel duped. I would feel the angry as well if I had committed to a knife and it was shipped to someone else.

There really is no way to get the knife back because it did ship. However, I would like the mods input as to what to do with the person who never contacted me but slipped a payment under the rug to me. I obviously have their name.

Again, I offer my sincere apology to you and literally feel your pain.

Hey bud, I didn't "slip a payment" to you. I sent you a PM that said I would take it. you responded with your paypal addy. I sent payment. Don't be saying that I am the bad guy in this. If you didn't look at time stamps on the posts and the PM's ; that is your issue if you made an error.

No need for nastiness getduck. Clearly the issue is I listed too many things in one post and quite frankly could not keep track of communications.

Lesson learned? Yep. Post one thing at a time.

Or learn from pizza713man. He seems to have a system that really works. :-)
