This first knife is a bit of a one-off, we've been calling it the Gentelman's Back-up. It's an old file re-purposed into a beautiful blade.
Serial #: 609 SOLD
Overall Length: 10"
Blade Length: 5 1/4" of cutting edge
Handle Length: 4 5/16" (give or take 1/16th, some are harder to measure than others)
Steel: This one is actually from a file, an older Nicholson approximately 1/8" thick. Its been annealed and ground for a full convex blade, heat treated and hand rubbed to 600 grit. For character there is a small hint of the file pattern up near the hilt and a tiny bit of forge pattern.
Handle: Wenge with green spacers and 1/4" 304 stainless tubing pins.
Sheath: Sleek black Ranger by yours truly. Double-needle hand stitched with a welt and no stitching through the main body of the sheath, (the bottom of the belt loop is stitched to the horizontal strap instead of the main body to prevent the knife from rubbing against the thread and weakening it).
Asking Price: SOLD - Thanks for looking!
Just let me know if you are interested.
