Koyote Knives

Hello, Koyote Girl -- welcome to the wilderness! :D

Are you going to be working on the sheath for my knife? I got smart, just before bearthedog put up all this great advertising, I got in touch with Christof about making one of the "tactical puukkos" for me. Now I won't won't have to wait in back of all the new orders! :p

Esav- she probably will, in about 12 hours! heat treating is done and I'm sanding scales to glue up after this break.

BTD, You are a very bad man... I went to Koyote's web-site and decided buy all of his available knives, but than realized that I already committed to buy another beauty from someone else.... Koyote - I'll be back... BTD - I'll be shipping you 4 hungry children destined for state colleges....:D

4 hungry children? You need 4 new, properly sized knives, one for each, and send them out to trap and clean their own food! :D

It builds character.

Mike thanks for your honest opinion on the Koyotes a month ago, you were right about all of them, sharp, light, and doing something a little different. You guys need to talk to Mike he has the scoop on all the custom makers around here.:)

many thanks bear....:D christof is a cool dude.. i'm glad to see him getting some more orders going... anytime you have anymore questions man.. drop me a line..:)

Thanks Koyote. Hello everybody.

-Koyote Girl

welcome koyote girl...:D:thumbup:

I can imagine the excitement! :D

On the other hand, what excitement? I never got excited over a knife. I ALWAYS had a knife, as far back as I remember. How could you be a kid without a knife ...

But when you give him one you made, it won't be long before he wants to make one, too.

Exhibit A, I will be shipping this young waif out first, sans the Machax rig...

Koyote - Your son is very lucky:thumbup::thumbup:

I dunno, that's a big knife. Leif might get jealous. Have to make him an axe for next year :)

Now THIS is exciting...delighted to see Koyote Knives on BFC, now that I've been "away" for a while.
Some damn nice looking knives, Christof...and I heartily approve of 1/16" carbon steel.
Esav, I hope that knife feels as good in your hand as one of Koyote's reverse punches feels reverberating through your whole body!

Welcome back! Stick around a while!

I'm looking forward to the knife, which it seems is going to be here ahead of his original estimated time.
I've been playing with a few Buck 110s lately which actually have a comparable handle.
I much prefer thin blades to the big choppers. That's part of what drew me to the Boker CLB folders.

We shall see! I'll go around slashing at everyone everything in sight. :D

Thanks to this review, my wife is offically going to kill me. I got Koyote to hold the black scandi bushcrafter for me until I can send him the money tomorrow. If I get booted out of my house, Bearthedog might have to put me up in his garage for a while, or something. The knife looks awesome, and I'm pretty excited, on the upside! :p

That was the best-written review I've ever read on Bladeforums. Awesome work, man. And the knives are very intriguing! Another maker on my list!

I like that one. When I looked at Kyote's site - I saw that full belly bushcrafter and thought - yeath that looks great but would be even better in orange osage. You confirmed my thinking!
